We are looking for a dedicated care worker for the following vacancy -

  • Full time Care & Support Worker (36 hours per week) on night shifts

Job Opportunity

As a Care and Support Worker at LDF, you will:

  • Deliver a high standard of essential and routine care to residents
  • Assist with bed making, serve meals and feed our residents, and use hoists to help our residents move
  • Follow care plans and assist in their review to ensure appropriate care is delivered
  • Be responsible for administration of medication following training

Lady Dane Farmhouse is a beautiful 15-bedded home set in the Kent countryside on the outskirts of the historic town of Faversham. Shift times at LDF are:

AM: 08:00–14:00

PM: 14:00-20:00

Long day: 08:00-20:00

Nights: 20:00–08:00

LDF provides care on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays. This means we value reliable and flexible staff. Essential Skills

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have an interest in adult care services
  • Be flexible and able to meet the working pattern demanded by the role
  • Communicate clearly with our residents, adapting to their individual requirements
  • Be committed to deliver a high level of care and support
  • Hold Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or be willing to get this qualification

 

Although not essential, it would be an advantage if you have:

  • Direct or indirect experience of disability or supporting those with disabilities
  • Previous experience of working/studying in care
