Becky Richards

I have worked for Strode Park Foundation since 2014, initially as the Home Manager for Platters Farm Lodge, our Rainham respite and rehabilitation service.  After 6 years working at Platters Farm Lodge, during which time I worked with a wonderful team of committed and outstanding individuals; and also managed to get married, have my little boy (now 3), achieve a Level 7 Diploma and MA in Management Studies, I was lucky enough to achieve promotion to Director of Care (Social and Homecare). In 2022 I became Deputy Chief Executive.

I am extremely passionate about being the best person that I can be and encouraging and supporting others around me to do the same.  I love working for Strode Park Foundation, from the first day to now, I am continuously in awe of the outstanding care and support that is afforded to all the individuals within our services.  There is a constant focus on empowerment, inclusion, choice, dignity and promoting positive outcomes and I believe that is the epitome of what care should be.  In my role of Director of Care (Social and Homecare) I am hoping I can encourage others to be as passionate as I am about our values of Care, Together and Inspire and make sure that it is at the heart of everything we do.

Outside of work and aside from my very gorgeous family, travel and books are the ones for me.
