January 2024 Monthly Thank You

This month we have lots of amazing people, businesses, and organisations to thank and we want to share the wonderful ways in which they have and are continuing to support the charity and our work.

Without all of these supporters we would not be able to support our residents and clients the way we do.

To begin, we’d like to say thank you to:

The Copper Pottle – The micro pub in Beltinge held a fantastic Christmas raffle and quiz and kindly donated all the profits to Strode Park Foundation. The raised a staggering £1,268.

Next up is Kevin from the Ethelbert Lodge of Freemasons in Herne Bay. Along with his fellow members they kindly donated £200 to help us continue providing the high-quality care that we do.

Thank you to our local supermarkets for donations towards our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 23 March. Asda in Broadstairs donated 29 eggs and Morrisons in Herne Bay donated 13 eggs.

Following on from this a huge thank you to Tesco in Whitstable for the large donation of Christmas decorations and wrapping paper that they donated at the start of the month but also for all the continued support they have shown to our charity throughout the winter months.

Lots of local business have our collection pots in their stores but we wanted to highlight the local town shop Baydis, Herne Bay for continuing to have not only one but two of our collection pots in their store, which raised £69.70 when we collected them recently.

Lastly, this month we spent time reflecting on all the support we receive, and we want to thank each and every one of you that engages with our charity whether that is on social media, by attending an event, donating, or volunteering.
