Maria the Challenge Hero

Maria Harvey of DaVinci Dance School has put on her running shoes to raise money for both Strode Park Foundation and the Kent Air Ambulance. Maria’s challenge is a tough one, she is running the Lands’ end to John O’Groats virtual run which is a whopping 874 miles.

Maria, a mum and business owner from Herne Bay has been running roughly 25 miles a week since December in all kinds of weather and has currently completed 835 miles despite even being out of action in the middle of the challenge to have surgery on her ankle. To make things harder for herself Maria will be running her last 10 miles in one hit. However, she will be accompanied in her final stretch by some of her family and friends.

Maria has currently raised an amazing £800 of her targeted £1000 (before gift aid) half of which will be donated to Strode Park Foundation. Help support her mission and donate at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/MariaDavinci/1

Good luck in your final stretch Maria and thank you!
