Rotary supporting Strode

Herne Bay Rotary Club’s new president, Sarah Finnis, who officially starts in July, has announced that Strode Park Foundation will be her President’s charity. Sarah heads up the family law team at Girlings Solicitors and is based in their Herne Bay office.

Sarah said: “Strode Park is a charity close to my heart and I am keen for our Rotary Club to raise funds to support children and adults with disabilities here in Kent.”

Karen Jeal, Strode Park’s Fundraising, Marketing and PR Manager, added: “We’re really thrilled to have the support of the Rotary Club and we’re looking forward to working together over the coming year to raise money for our charity.”

There will be a specific fundraiser being arranged early next year and there will be plenty of other opportunities too for Rotary to support Strode as the year progresses.
